I started judo at 5 years old, and from there, my passion for strength and discipline began to take root. From the moment I first saw Sylvester Stallone in Rocky 3, Rocky 4, and Rambo 2,3, something ignited inside me. That raw strength, unyielding determination, and unbreakable spirit represented everything I wanted to become. It was 1998, and that was the beginning of my journey,a journey of resilience, strength, and self, discovery.
Back then, it was all about power and raw strength. I threw myself into judo, pushing my body to its absolute limits. Between 2000 and 2010, my focus was purely on building strength to dominate on the mat. Every session was a test of willpower and discipline. Rain or shine, tired or energized, I showed up. I learned early on that progress isn’t negotiable, you either put in the work, or you don’t move forward.
As the years passed, my goals shifted. From 2010 to 2015, it became more about aesthetics. I wanted to look powerful, not just feel it. I wanted a physique that spoke for itself, a reflection of the work I put in day after day. But life changed, and so did my purpose. It wasn’t just about me anymore,it was about my kids. Logan, Lilly, Rippley and Michael became my new motivation. Being strong and healthy wasn’t just a personal goal anymore; it was a mission. My kids have made me a better man, more focused, more determined, and more committed than ever. To provide for them the way I want to, I need to be strong, my conditioning needs to be high, and my mental health has to be in check. That’s what a man needs to truly provide for his family, and I’m dedicated to being that man every single day. I wanted to be the dad who could run with his kids, lift them with ease, and be there for every memory, strong, healthy, and full of life.
When the pandemic hit, it tested a lot of people. For me, it was an opportunity. I went back to basics, bodyweight training, and saw some of the best gains of my life. With minimal equipment, I proved to myself that discipline and knowledge could overcome any obstacle. The iron became my therapy, my outlet, my sanctuary. Strength training isn’t just about building muscle; it’s a lifeline for mental health. No matter what you’re going through, training has a way of grounding you, clearing your mind, and giving you the strength to push through. It’s been my anchor through the toughest times, a reminder that progress is always possible if you keep moving forward. Through every high and low, training was always there. A symbol of resilience.
Now, with over 25 years of training experience and 10 years of coaching under my belt, I’ve got my eyes set on a new challenge: getting shredded, not just for show, but to prove what’s possible when you commit to a vision and refuse to give up. This time, it’s not just for me,it’s for my kids, my clients, and everyone watching my journey.
My mission is clear: to be in the best health, strength, and condition of my life. I’m not just chasing a look; I’m proving to myself and others that with enough dedication, you can transform your life, no matter where you start.
This is my journey. And it’s far from over. Follow my fat loss journey to see how far I can go. My future goals are to help others achieve the physique, strength, fitness, and mental fortitude they’ve been searching for. I want to inspire and guide others to become stronger, not just physically, but mentally as well. Remember, investing in yourself isn’t selfish, it’s the foundation for a happier, more fulfilled life. When you’re at your best, you can give more to the people you love and create lasting memories that matter.
