My story

My Story So Far and Why I’m the Coach People Trust for Real Results
I didn’t get into training to chase trends, quick fixes, or Instagram moments.
Training became non-negotiable for me because it supports my physical health, my mental health, and my ability to show up every day as a father, an athlete, and a coach.
I’m a father of five kids. That alone changes how you approach fitness. When you’re responsible for a family, extremes stop making sense. You cannot afford burnout, constant injuries, or plans that only work when life is perfect. You need systems that fit real life, real schedules, and real stress.
That reality is the foundation of how I coach.
Built on Discipline, Not Shortcuts
I’m also a black belt in judo. That background shaped my entire mindset around training.
Judo teaches you very quickly that ego gets punished. Efficiency matters. Durability matters. Control matters. You learn how to generate power without destroying your body, and you learn that longevity beats intensity every time.
That discipline carried over into my strength training, conditioning work, and coaching philosophy. I don’t chase fatigue for the sake of it. I chase progress that compounds.
Years of Real Experience, Not Theory
Over the years, I’ve trained through every phase most people experience:
Bulking
Cutting
Rebuilding after illness
High stress periods
Low sleep
Full resets
What I learned is simple, but most people ignore it.
Progress is not about doing more.
It’s about doing the right amount consistently and recovering well enough to repeat it.
Some of my biggest breakthroughs didn’t come from pushing harder. They came from learning when not to push, how to manage fatigue, and how to train in a way that supports life rather than fights it.
That perspective only comes from years of training, not certificates alone.
Where I Am Now
My focus now is sustainable performance.
That means building strength without wrecking joints.
Improving conditioning without sacrificing muscle.
Training in blocks so progress compounds instead of stalling.
Prioritising long-term health alongside physique goals.
I train early. I value recovery. I respect fatigue. I plan properly.
I also specialise in both home and gym training.
Not everyone has access to a full gym all the time. Not everyone wants one. I’ve built and tested systems that work with minimal equipment, full gym setups, or a combination of both.
Good coaching adapts to your environment, not the other way around.
How This Makes Me an Effective Coach
Most people don’t need more motivation.
They need clarity.
I help clients by removing guesswork from training and replacing it with structure that actually fits their life.
I coach people to: Train with intent instead of emotion
Control intensity instead of chasing exhaustion
Build consistency instead of cycling between extremes
Recover properly so progress doesn’t stall
Whether the goal is fat loss, muscle gain, improved fitness, or simply feeling better day to day, the process stays the same.
Train with intent.
Recover properly.
Repeat.
No chaos. No ego. No burnout cycles.
Who My Coaching Is For
My approach works best for people who:
Are tired of starting over
Want progress without destroying themselves
Value structure over hype
Want results that last
If you’ve trained before but feel inconsistent, run down, or stuck, the answer is rarely more effort. It’s better management.
That’s what I provide.
The Bottom Line
My story isn’t about being extreme or perfect.
It’s about learning how to train in a way that actually works long term, while still building strength, fitness, and confidence.
That’s what I help others do.
Not smash themselves for a few weeks.
Not chase numbers for ego.
But build a body and mindset they can rely on.

If you want structured coaching that fits real life, whether you train at home, in the gym, or both, I offer coaching built around consistency, recovery, and long-term progress.
No gimmicks.
